Truth Professional Care Services is a licensed and certified partner of the Louisiana Department of Health and the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD).

Our agency serves multiple parishes in Region 1 -- Orleans, Jefferson, St Bernard and Plaquemine Parishes. We provide Personal Care, Homemaker and Companionship Care for adults and seniors with disabilities on a full-time or temporary basis. We specialize in individualized case management, providing the personal care services needed to help you or your loved one maintain their independence and quality of life at home. 

We also provide a range of assistance to persons with disabilities and chronic conditions to enable them to accomplish activities of daily living and become as self-sufficient as possible.

Services provided in the home include:
Personal Care Services (PCS)
Personal care services are provided by a trained attendant, when disability, illness or injury causes adults and seniors to require assistance with eating, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene. PCS does not include medical tasks, such as giving medication, tube feeding, or care of an indwelling catheter or tracheotomy. PCS is not a substitute for child care.

Non-Medical Home Care
Non-medical Home Care is the type of home care often associated with care provided to elderly, blind or disabled clients at their home as required -- choose from full-time or part-time, or even up to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. These services are designed to accommodate individuals with declining abilities and help them receive quality care in comfort of their own home, to avoid institutional care. Non-medical services include basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, assisting with mobility, housekeeping, cooking, dishes, laundry and escorted assistance to appointments. Additionally, non-medical Home Care provides companionship, important medication reminders, and supervision of individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

We provide Support Coordination and Services for the following Medicaid Waivers:
> Community Choices Waiver (CCW)
> New Opportunities Waiver (NOW)
> Long Term Personal Care Services (LT/PCS)
> Residential Options Waiver (ROW)
